Robert Glen George

	Robert Glen George, 72, of Custer, Michigan, formerly of DuQuoin, passed away at 6:25 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2000 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
	Mr. Glen was a clerk with the Railroad.  He was of the Protestant faith and served in the Navy during WW II.
	He was born January 5, 1928 at DuQuoin, the son of Arthur W. George and Emma Marie (Richardson) George.  He married Delores Shelton on August 15, 1950 at Morgansville, KY.
	Surviving are his wife, Delores George of Custer, MI; sons, Edward George of Millstadt and Marten K. George of Grand Haven, MI; daughters, Victoria Ann George-Cook of Custer, MI and Debra Sue Johnson of Danvers; brothers, Jacob D. George of Phoenix, AZ, Donald George of Orange Park, FL; Gerald Butch George of DuQuoin and Tommy George of DuQuoin; sister, Rosalie Palmer of DuQuoin and 10 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
	Funeral services were Tuesday, July 11  at 10 a.m. at Neal-McClure Memorial Chapel with Rev. Floyd Hendricks officiating.  Interment was in Hallidayboro Cemetery.
	Friends were able to call Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
